How to Log In to MyTax and Assign a Director to Your Company for MyTax

Once your company is registered with the Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN), you may need to assign a director to represent the company in tax matters. This can be done online through the MyTax portal.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to log in to MyTax and assign yourself (or another individual) as the company’s director.

Step 1: Access the MyTax Portal

Navigate to the MyTax login page:
👉 https://mytax.hasil.gov.my

Step 2: Login With Your Individual Account

Login into your MyTax account.

Step 3: Navigate to “Profile”

Click on the Profile button on top right.

Step 4: Fill in the Role Application Form

  1. Navigate to the “Role Application” tab.
  2. Select “New Application” in Type of Application.
  3. Select “Director of the company / Organization Administrator” in Type of Role.
  4. Fill in the Tax Identification Number (TIN) of the company.
    Remark: Upon entering your company’s Tax Identification Number, the taxpayer information including Company Name, TIN and email will be shown. You could verify the information before proceeding to the next step.
  5. Upload company’s “Section 14” as the supporting document.
  6. Check the declaration box to confirm your authority to represent the company for authorization to submit forms electronically on behalf of your company. Then click on the “Submit” button.

Step 5: Sign with Digital Signature

A pop-up window will appear asking you to enter your NRIC number and MyTax password as digitla signature.

Step 6: Submit and Wait for Approval

  • After signing, a green notification window will pop up displaying the messages “Success” and “New Application is being processed.”

  • After clicking the OK button, a table will appear on the same page showing your application details and current application status.

Done!

That’s it! Once your application is approved, you’ll be able to manage company tax filings, check balances, and submit forms online through MyTax.
