Records exceeding the applicable retention period may be deleted, purged, anonymised or otherwise disposed of.<\/li><li><strong>On termination.<\/strong> Where an account or service agreement is terminated, data associated with the relevant account will generally be retained for thirty (30) days from the date of termination before being deleted, unless a longer or shorter period is agreed in writing with the customer, or unless retention is otherwise required or permitted under applicable law, including for accounting, tax, audit, regulatory, or legal claims purposes.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul><p class=\"font-claude-response-body\">Users and customers are advised to periodically download their data for their own record-keeping purposes. The retention and disposal practices described here are also set out in our Terms of Use.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body\"><strong>Data Deletion<\/strong><\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body\">Certain personal data processed through the Service constitutes employment and human resource data controlled by the employer. Where we process such data on behalf of an employer, we act as a data processor on that employer&#8217;s instructions. In relation to other personal data \u2014 including customer and billing information, account administration data, website enquiries, and system and security logs \u2014 we act as the data controller.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body\">Individual employees and users should generally direct requests relating to the access, correction, restriction, or deletion of their employment records to their employer or the employer&#8217;s designated HR administrator, who will assess the request against the employer&#8217;s own record-keeping and statutory obligations.
